Kissed

Under the million eyes above
Glittering fires from the midnight blue
Whence his blaze consumed me
With closed eyes smelt his fragrance
And devoured the pouty fruits amid
Evoked a response I’d never known, nor imagined
Giddying of all my senses, instinctive joy
Warning sirens vowed silence, reason took leave
Something new and irresistible, tenderly overpowering
Weary from the tumult of the body
And all my soul’s scent and melody.
