Goodbye to you is hard to say
I think of you every single day
            why wouldn’t you stay?

            you told me to choose what means the most to me
            and I chose you …?

Goodbye I silently cry
            you were my salvation
Wonder why you gave me so much hope!

Goodbye you were my moon
            for the dark nights of my soul
Now that you’re nowhere
            your ghost’s everywhere
I’ll never say goodbye.


Goodbye is hard to say my gentle one
            you were the warmth of the sun
            and you held me for the last time.
