Missing You (2)

Since you said it’s over between us

Time has been measure in bitter chapters
In the night hearing the whistles and laughter
Of your voice as when we opened da’ chapter
Of that book we’re to write together our life thereafter;
I couldn’t have done better
Since that’s what I am
And I gonna be
Am missing you
Like a song without a tune
Like the tunes sang in June
Am like a fife without a player
Am da’ dance floor without a ballerina
Am missing you…
Babe, what happened to da vow you made
To be there in the turf for the long haul
When am not there to huddle and cuddle
Every time I wanna come
But time gets away from me
Every time I wanna quit this tough turf of ma life
But I can’t just do it ma’ love
That’s what I am, and will be, and so
Am missing you
Like a song without a tune
Like the tunes sang in June
Am like a fife without a player
Am da’ dance floor without a ballerina
Am missing you…
