I Have a Story

I have a story, a tale to tell
To tell the world, what love is;
If you see the lovers
Of the fairy tale,
You can tell the future
When in love you fall;
You believe in love
Emotions you find hard to understand
In mine heart, I have a story.

I saw the smile, and I walked the mile
Crossed the stream, to live my dream
And I saw the beam
That makes it worth the while;
Thence came the whirl of feelings
Something I’d never felt
Emotions I found hard to understand
And that’s my story.

I have a story, a tale to tell
Of the girl I met
And changed everything;
Thawed the ice around my heart
Gave me warmth, of love
I could tell the future,
I believed in love.
