So, This Girl Don’t Love Me

This girl don’t love me (oh my)
So don’t tell me to keep hoping
I’m better off being alone, hopping
Than miserable in love; her laugh
‘Cause I’ve been forlorn
And she’s left me along
And together we can’t be alright
‘Cause when I think of her ev’ry night
I see her love take flight.

Maybe I promise that I'll do all I can
And hope things will get better, and
Nothing will come between us if I try;
The nights won’t be getting darker
And anger attack her, no pain inside –
But why make my life harder
By fighting for love, everyday –
‘Cause I’m tired of being lonely

And she can’t be my one and only.
