Love Denied (Juliet's Version)

‘Tis but thy resolve that is
                In between;
Thee and I, my fire
             My one desire.
What’s resolve? It is
          Nor end, nor fiend
Nor devil, nor angel, no
          Any other thing
Denying us forever. O, be
          Some other love!
What’s love? that
          Which we call unrequited
Or platonic would
          Be as romantic;
So love would, were
            She not philia call’d
Retain that title. Love
            Is my life
And for that love which
            Is not part of thee
Grant thee happy days.
